Coaching
Since we have such a big team,
the only way we can be successful is if we all help each other out. The event
chairs will be in charge of monitoring the practices of the members of each
event. Progress will be recorded weekly based on practice during the meetings
and outside the meetings. At each event meeting, you will be paired up with a
fellow speech-er to either practice or coach. Peer coaching is one of the most
effective ways to improve! After the coaching, your event chair will also assign
you to a practice on another day of the week. That will be part of your “out of
meeting progress.” It is IMPERATIVE that you follow these practice guidelines;
if you don’t, you cannot attend a tournament. BAD!!! Remember!
