Hey guys! My name is Krishay Madhav and I am your VP of Public Forum Debate for the 26-27 school year. I've been with Leland Speech & Debate for all four years of my high school journey and it has easily been the defining highlight of my time here. There is nothing as special as learning under the greatest speakers in the country and then later transforming into a confident leader and mentor as one becomes a senior. As your VP, my goal is to make all of debate (and particularly Public Forum) more accessible for novices and varsity, collaborative between events, and as successful as possible, helping everyone find their voice. Beyond the LSD program, I love watching and playing sports from football to table tennis, binging whatever trending show that happens to pop up on my Netflix feed, and embarking on spontaneous road trips with no agenda.
